A broader perspective
As expectations continue to shift towards outcomes and impact, organisations need more than better measurement. They need to connect strategy, outcomes, evidence and decision-making.
Working across government, health, regulation, research and the not-for-profit sector has given me the opportunity to see these challenges from different perspectives and understand what it takes to bring these elements together.
My background spans public health, strategy, organisational leadership, design thinking and impact measurement. Rather than seeing these as separate disciplines, I see them as interconnected parts of the same system.
Why impact work slows
Organisations never lack commitment to impact. This work competes with immediate funding, workforce and service delivery priorities. Responsibility can be fragmented, while reporting requirements pull you in different directions and outcomes have not been adequately funded or embedded.
The solution is often more data without greater clarity, frameworks that sit beside strategy rather than informing it and valuable insights that never reach the decisions that matter.
My work focuses on resolving those underlying gaps: strengthening impact maturity, establishing meaningful approaches to measurement and turning evidence into a narrative that can guide decisions, demonstrate value and support funding and influence.
